“Something I’ve been reflecting on lately: how do I know when I’m in my Light... and when I’m caught in my own Darkness?
In my darkness… I notice constriction in my throat and tension in my jaw which comes with a heaviness that sits on my shoulders. My thoughts delve into the worst-case scenarios and I find myself in an endless loop of planning how to avoid these imaginary stories that haven’t happened yet.
In my Light… I find that my body feels as if I am floating; relaxed and without tension or heaviness. I find that my mind is much quieter and I am able to listen, to be present, and to be curious.”
