Dive In

“I have been a seeker and I still am, but I stopped asking the books and the stars. I started listening to the teaching of my Soul.”

Rumi

  • Take a moment to imagine feeling safe. You don’t need to search for a specific memory. Just allow your mind to create the feeling. Trust it. You know more than you think.

Now take a slow, steady breath in… and let it go.
As you imagine feeling safe, notice what’s happening inside you.

  • What do you feel in your body?

    Is there tightness or relaxation?

    Heaviness or lightness?

    Agitation or calm?

Bring your attention inward, gently and with curiosity.

Maybe you notice something in your jaw, your chest, your stomach, your shoulders, your arms or legs. There’s nothing to fix. Nothing to improve. This is simply a moment to connect and to listen.

  • As you notice these sensations, become curious about the rest of you.

How are you responding to what you feel?

    Are you judging yourself?
    Are you resisting the sensation?
    Are you allowing it?
Do you find yourself wanting more of it?

    Just notice. No right answers.

  • Come back to this in a day or two and try it again. See what’s different. See what feels familiar.

As you gently repeat this practice, the feeling of safety may begin to feel less like something you’re trying to create and more like something that belongs to you. Something that has been there all along.

Take your time with this. There’s no rush
